PAN PIZZA

                   Thinking of making pizza at home and don't have yeast, then there is nothing to worry because we will not use yeast in our pizza recipe.

The term Pizza was originated from Latin word pinsa which means flatbread.

Pizza contains the ingredients that are healthy and is also high in fat. The HOMEMADE pizza helps to have a control over the ingredients that are high in fat.

Tomato has lycopene which is an antioxidant that helps to counteract various type of cancer.

Olive oil helps to lower the LDL cholesterol and raise HDL cholesterol that helps to prevent the chances of heart ailments.

Mozzarella cheese has high amount of protein, fats, sodium and calcium.

Galric is a great source of manganese, selenium and Vitamin C.

Oregano has good amount of manganese, Vitamin K, oils and fiber.

INGREDIENT

For Pizza Base
  • Maida                : 1 cup
  • Curd                   : 3 tbsp
  • Baking Powder : 1 tsp
  • Baking Soda      : 1 tsp
  • Oil                       : 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

For Pizza Topping
  • Mushroom   : 3-4 sliced
  • Bell Pepper  : 1 sliced
  • Onion            : 1 sliced
  • Olive oil        : 1 tbsp
  • Oregano       : 1 tsp
  • Chilli Flakes : 1 tsp
  • Mozzarella Cheese
  • Salt to taste

For Pizza Sauce
  • Onion                          : 1 finely chopped
  • Garlic                          : 2-3 glove finely chopped
  • Oil                                : 1 tbsp
  • Fresh Tomato Puree : 1/2 cup
  • Sugar                           : 1/2 tsp
  • Vinegar                       : 1/2 tsp
  • Oregano                      : 1/2 tsp
  • Chilli Flakes               : 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste


METHOD

For Making Pizza Dough
  • Take maida in a bowl, add curd and salt , mix well.
  • Make a mixture of baking powder, baking soda and oil in a bowl, mix well.
  • Pour this mixture to maida and mix well.
  • Add water accordingly to make a runny dough.
  • Cover it and rest it aside .

For Pizza Topping

  • Take a pan, heat it up add oil to it.
  • Add onion, bell pepper, mushroom and tomato saute for a minute.
  • Now add salt, oregano, chilli flakes.
  • Lightly saute for few more minutes, do not over cook it.
  • Remove it and keep it aside.

For Pizza Sauce
  • Take oil in a pan, heat it up.
  • Add onion, garlic lightly saute them.
  • Pour fresh tomato puree to it.
  • Now add sugar, vinegar,salt,oregano and chilli flake.
  • Cook it till it get thicken. 
  •  Remove and keep it aside. 






Preparation of PIZZA


  • Now take the dough and make a flat pizza base with your fingers, poke the base with fork.
  • Take a pan, heat it up.
  • Place pizza base in it,let it cook properly from one side.
  • Now change the side, spread pizza sauce on cooked side of pizza base.
  • Grate mozzarella cheese over it.
  • Add vegetables on it and spread some more cheese over it to hold the vegetables, then cover it to cook.
  • Pizza ready to serve

Note
  • Cook them till the cheese melts and vegetables get cooked.
