SABUDANE KI KHEER

Sabudane ki kheer is a dessert, which can be serve after food or in a festive occasion .
This recipe include Milk which is a good source of Calcium, which promotes strong bone. Milk is also rich in protein.
Its another ingredient is Ghee which is rich in Vitamin A, Vitamin E and Vitamin K which have a role in removing free radicals from the body and protecting our cell as well as help in maintaining skin health and glow.
Cashew nuts (kaju) rich in magnesium helps to regulate blood pressure.
Lets take a look to the recipe.......

INGREDIENT
- Sabudana (Sago) : 1 cup
- Ghee : 1 tbsp
- Milk : 1 ltr
- Cashew nut (kaju) : 2 tbsp
- Raisin (kismis) : 1 tbsp
- Almond (badam) : 2 tbsp
- Sugar : 1 cup
- Cardamom powder (elaichi) : 1/2 tsp
- A pinch of Saffron (kesar) strand
METHOD
- Take sabudana in a bowl and clean it properly with water.
- Soak sabudana in 3/4th cup of water for 1 hour and set it aside.
- Now take a pan and heat it up, add milk allow it to boil in medium flame for 4-5 minutes.
- Add soak sabudana ,mix well and cook in medium flame for 12 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
- Add sugar, cardamom powder(elaichi), saffron (kesar), mix well and cook in medium flame for 2 minutes,while stirring occasionally.
- Turn of the gas and keep aside.
- Heat the Ghee in a pan, add cashew nut (kaju), almond (badam) and raisin (kismis).
- Saute them on medium flame 1-2 minutes.
- Pour it over prepared sabudana kheer and mix well.
- Garnish them with finely chopper cashew nut, raisin and almond.
- Serve warm or chilled.
